SUMMIT COVE/SODA CREEK LOOP

This was one of my first rides in Summit County. Mountain Bike heaven!! 13 miles of sweet singletrack, Smooth as a baby’s bottom hardly a rock anywhere, A couple of climbs a killer downhill, and lots of twisty singletrack. I ride it as much as I can.
RIDE LOG:
Whispering Pines Trail head to Colorado trail about 4 miles.

This section is mostly smooth singletrack.

East at Colorado trail to Dredge Boat Jct. . This is really fast fun mostly downhill section. Beware of the Blair Witch!

Dredge Boat Jct.

Up the Colorado Trail from Dredge Boat to unmarked jct. More fine single track. It almost makes you forget about the climb. There are some great views of the 10 Mile Range

North at the unmarked jct. The ensuing downhill reminds me of the singletrack from Pavilion Point down to Silver Plume! AND IT DOESN’T GET ANY BETTER THAN THAT.

Keystone Ranch to Summit Cove. Via Aqueduct Trail

14 miles 2hours 30 min. 5.8 av. Kind of slow but I took lots of pictures .Beautiful spring day. Looks like high country rides still a couple weeks off.
